About Dr. Joe...

  (Also see: Brief Bio)

"Dr. Joe Indano worked with me on filming a special episode for Season 10 of "Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?" on The Style Network. My production team at True Entertainment were very impressed with his performance and ability to be creative in order for this episode to really stand out. The couple we worked with was totally satisfied with Rev. Dr. Joe's service, and the beautiful ceremony he provided. I have admired his professionalism and commitment to his clients." ....Patrick, V.P. Production & Development "E!" channel (True Entertainment Network)

"Love means to commit oneself without guarantee, to give oneself completely in the hope that our love will produce love in the loved person.

Love is an act of faith, and whoever is of little faith is also of little love."

--Erich Fromm

I'm an ordained and licensed Presbyterian, Christian clergyman (Italian Catholic background) and pastoral counselor.
I performed a wedding ceremony televised for "E! Whose Wedding Is It Anyway" as well as lots of non-traditional and non-denominational/Interfaith weddings; some simple, but always elegant and fun!

I've been a chaplain (hospital & hospice), parish pastor, and Director/Manager of a Counseling Center.
My earned doctor's degree is in Ministry/Counseling Psychology (Drew University).  I am a Relationship Enhancement & Life Transition Counselor, certified hypnotherapist offering 1-Day or Overnight Retreat.
I was an associate of the Interfaith Clergy Network (alongside Rabbi Shimon Berris) for 30 yrs., where I proudly performed or co-officiated ceremonies which were Interfaith (Jewish--Christian), Catholic--Protestant, Greek or Russian Orthodox--Christian/Jewish, Muslim--Christian, Filipino or Asian (inter-cultural), and Sikh, including inter-racial, non-denominational, civil unions, sacred commitments, Vow Renewals, Baby Ceremonies (Christenings, infant baptisms, baby baptisms, blessings, baby namings, baby welcomings, baby dedications), House blessings, Pet blessings, funerals and memorial services, Celebration of Life.

Although I serve locally as a Ventura Wedding Officiant and Oxnard Area Wedding Officiant, as an ordained clergyman I am authorized to perform marriage and civil union ceremonies nationally and internationally (arrangements can be made).
I absolutely enjoy what I do, and I'm told the love shines through in the ceremonies and services I provide :)
Meanwhile, I wish you much joy and every happiness as you plan for your momentous day of celebration!
Thank you for your interest :)
